Vicky & Ian’s wedding at the at The Manor House, Castle Combe in the Cotswolds, was one to remember. Mainly because they got married in secret – with only two witnesses (and a small handful of playful children!!) It was very romantic and awesomely intimate – I remember them being quite careful as to who they chose to capture the day, as they were aware that they needed both good photos and someone who they felt at ease with. I was honoured to get the commission and I really enjoyed their small and intimate secret wedding. Here are a few comments from Vicky and also my favourite captures.
“Hi Ed,
We received the final USB stick of photo’s and wanted to send a note to say thank you. Every single one of them is beautiful, the focus, lighting and attention to detail is incredible.
As the whole day was planned in secret we felt it was especially important to find the perfect photographer, they would provide the key ‘evidence’ of the day to show friends and family, and would be a guest as well as a photographer due to the small number of people attending. As well as providing us with perfect pictures, we thoroughly enjoyed your company on the day and your relaxed, adaptable approach meant that having photographs taken added no stress to our day.
We were hoping to note a few photo’s that we particularly love, but there are so many its nearly impossible! Everybody especially loves the photo’s of Erin – you captured her personality so well in the photograph of her reading the book. Ian is a fan of the photo of me (Vicky) looking over my shoulder in the mirror (especially impressive considering he isn’t normally a fan of black and white pictures!) and I love the black and white photo of us walking through the gardens holding hands.
Thank you again. We hope that you have a wonderful Christmas and New Year!
Kind Regards
Ian and Vicky (aka Mr & Mrs Stuart!!!!!)”
