Feathered Nest Inn | Nether Westcote | Oxfordshire
I have had some great feedback from Faye & Chris following their wedding – which is all below. I am especially pleased about their positive comments as I was very ill that day, it turns out with food poisoning… And I would have hated to have missed out on their most unique surprise toastmaster – a Dalek!!
THE most common question a wedding photographer is asked by prospective couples is “what happens if you can’t make it on the day?” My answer is always that I will obviously do everything I can to be there! But I do have a few contingency plans in place, just in case of an emergency which, touch wood, have yet to be implemented! Thus far I have attended weddings with a hole in my foot, food poisoning and also a freshly broken toe! In each case I don’t let on about the problem – there is no point in worrying anyone unnecessarily!
Therefore, on the day, I didn’t mention to Faye & Chris that I was ill, even thought the night before their wedding I was crippled up on the sofa making calls to fellow wedding photographers to ensure they were stood by to implement my back up plan, in case of emergency. As it happens I made it through the day and had a really enjoyable time – despite the discomfort!
Anyway – on to their wonderful wonderful feedback:
“Hi Ed!
Hope this finds you well!
What an utterly fantastic job you’ve done. We’re actually speechless – we love them so much. I just don’t know how you caught everything! I love what you do with light and with the sky. My Mum got very emotional looking at them :-). If Carlsberg made wedding photographers…
Massive thanks to you and Lucy. You couldn’t have done a better job!! So, so very pleased we chose you as our photographer.
Faye and Chris x”
Faye & Chris also kindly left this on a Google Review for me: “You won’t find a better wedding photographer than Ed Clayton. His approach ensures that all the key parts of your day are captured as they actually happen, rather than being posed – and the results are breath-taking. As well as the photo-journalist style shots (which are by far our favourite ones), Ed also did some fantastic obligatory posed group shots too – he even took a picture for a family member with her camera phone!
Ed is friendly and professional – he gets on very well with guests while at the same time blending seamlessly into the background. If you want photographs of the highestquality, that enable you to re-live your special day over and over, Ed is the man to book. You absolutely won’t regret it. You can rely on him and you will be overwhelmed by the results!”
