Ed Clayton specialises in high-end wedding photography; he blends candid, photojournalistic and traditional-style shots to create elegant, story-telling images capturing all the unique moments of your special day. His accolades include being rated in the top 4 wedding photographers in the world (WIE Awards May 2013) and he is one of only 40 UK wedding photographers internationally accredited by the ISPWP (as of June 2014 rated in the top 2), Ed is a highly sought after and award winning wedding photographer.
Based on the borders of Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire & Northamptonshire; Ed provides full UK Coverage as well as regularly travelling to international destinations. He is also the owner and founder of Silverton Photography - the UK's premier wedding photography company and officially the world's most popular wedding photography studio 2014!
Ed is a confident individual whose unique and contemporary approach is friendly and relaxed in comparison to the stereo-typical wedding photographer. He enjoys shooting in this manner, capturing any moments as they happen. This, he says, gives a more accurate reflection of the day and is also far less stressful for the Bride and Groom. Additionally, he likes to prove that any required formal group photos can be taken quickly, smoothly and with tact.
Ed strongly encourages couples to view more than just a photographer's portfolio before booking, so that they can make a more informed decision about the style and quality of work. With that in mind, please click on the thumbnails below to see example weddings that Ed has recently attended.
What a great place to photograph a wedding – on the SS Great Britain! I am a great fan of Brunel – without doubt my favourite engineer of all time – his structures are amazing and to be able to have free roam of his steam ship at a wedding was a delight. The heaven’s did open just before Kirsty arrived for the wedding, but fortunately it eased off just after she got out of the car – phew! I was soaked by then, but I do love the shots taken during the rain – so it was worth it!
Kirsty and Anthony’s photos went live late last night and the email below was in my inbox this morning – thanks guys!
Tony and I would like to thank you very much for the amazing pictures you took at our wedding on the 25th August 2012. They brought us both to tears!!!!
You will be highly recommended to all of our friends, family, and colleagues.
