Every now and then you get a photograph a wedding at a venue that is on your “hit list”. Christ Church College Chapel is also the Cathedral for Oxford and has very much been a place I have wanted to photograph a wedding at for a long time. I simply love the building, it is beautiful.
Thanks Helena & Rob for allowing me that first, as well as another – to photograph an aerial display of a Spitfire at a wedding. Very unique and simply awesome to watch – what a great day it was.
Some of my favourites are below, along with Helena’s feedback after she had seen the photographs:
“Dear Ed,
Rob and I have had a really good look through the photos now and the more we look at them the more we like them! You’ve captured some wonderful moments from the day, with some lovely natural shots of Rob and I, and our friends and family.
We both agree that you have also done a particularly wonderful job photographing Christ Church Cathedral, which looks fantastic! The quality of the photos is great and the blend of colour and black and white shots is perfect.
You were also great on the day and fit right into the wedding, allowing you to take some great shots. I was quite worried about being in front of the camera, but most of the time I didn’t notice you were there, which shows how comfortable you made me feel.
I loved shooting this pano – I think you can work out what I did here….
