I seem to have been reminiscing about our wedding a lot these last few months as I have had a spate of weddings in and around where we got married back in 2010. Kelly & Stuart’s wedding celebrated at Bowood House Hotel was one of these as this is where my wife and our spend our first night as a married couple!
Anyway, enough about me – on to the wedding in hand… It was a great day and it was not the first, nor the last, time that I will stand on the roof of my car to get a shot. Although I am a very discreet photographer this was required in order to get a shot of all the guests at once within a very short time frame. I didn’t feel this was beyond the call of duty, but it did amuse many of the guests!!
The wedding was held in one of my most favourite churches in Wiltshire – St Mary’s in Calstone. It is a small and very sweet church, with the most wonderful of vicars! I have photographed a number of weddings here I love it every time.
