I have been slowly but surely getting myself organised and motivated to starting this blog. To be honest I have been putting it off for far too long! Thanks to the wedding film makers Mintyslippers though, I am being nudged in the right direction!
To start off I thought I’d post some of my favourite images from what was one of the most enjoyable weddings I have ever attended. Donna and Joel were keen for me to photograph their wedding held at the an amazing Farmhouse near Salazac in the South of France called Mas Cagnet, which is actually owned by Joel’s parents.
The day was a laid back “do it yourself” wedding and very relaxed which suited Donna & Joel perfectly. It enabled me to fit in and mix with all the guests as if I was one myself. The result, I feel, was some really natural images which I still enjoy looking back on.
As I had flown out the day before to join them, I decided to start early, I think the first photo was taken at 7.20am. As I wasn’t due to fly back until the following day and I was being well catered for, the last photo was taken at about 3.20am the next morning!
