Cripps Stone Barn | Gloucestershire

This is the first time I have had the pleasure to photograph a wedding of a serving QOGLR Officer (QOGLR stands for the Queen’s Own Gurkha Logisitic Regiment).  Why is this so special for me personally?  Because the QOGLR was one of the regiments in which I served whilst I was in the Army!  Indeed, it is the one I have the fondest memories of and formed the strongest friendships in.  I photograph a lot of military weddings due to my previous career, especially at The Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, but this one felt a bit like coming home:-)

I had never actually met Antony & Becky before they enquired with me.  It was only Antony spotting my email signature on a group email I had sent to the “old boys network” that he came across my website and the rest, as they say, is history!  They loved my natural, documentary style of photography and were keen to book me.

Their wedding took place at Cricklade Church and the reception was at the new Cripps Stone Barn.  Have a look through my favourites below to get a feel for the venue, but in short – fantastic!  If you’re looking for a wedding venue in the Cotwolds, then this is definitely one to go and see.

Brasier Saheb ra Mem Saheb.  Maile badhaai taphainharulai dinchu, tapainharuko bhiwaahko lagi.  (Please forgive any bad spelling/grammar it has been a while…)

JAI QOGLR!!!
